About Music in the Park

Our goals are simple

 

Contributing to the entertainment in downtown Manitowish Waters
Create a community event that can be enjoyed by all (locals, tourist, young and old)
Give the community something to do on Sunday afternoon, without having to spend any money

 

Music in the Park is an independently run organization.

 

It is overseen by a three person board; Barry Hopkins (The Pea Patch), Terry Mueller, and David Gouwens (Calm Water Solutions). No member of the board receives compensation in anyway.  All donations to Music in the Park are spent on the bands or improvements to Koller Park need to continue to host our event. Any money left after the season will be rolled over to the following season.

Donations

All Donations to Music in the Park go towards booking bands and improvements to Koller Park.

Donations must be made prior to June 20th to appear on the Park Banner. Sponsors who pay after June 20th will only appear on the website.

All donations should be in the form of a check and made out to 'Music in the Park'

Donations can be  Dropped off at Calm Water Solutions Office or mailed to;

Bronze

            Name and small logo on website.

Silver

            Name and medium logo on website.
            Medium logo on Music in the Park Banner
            Name read at each concert

Gold Sponsor

            Name and large logo on website.
            Large logo on Music in the Park Banner
           Name read at each concert

Platinum

            Platinum sponsor are responsible for the music on a specific date
            They also will be responcible for the food for the event
            Any proceeds received from the sale of the food will be donated to a charity approved by the music in the park commitee
            The date and charity will be listed with their name on our sponsor page
